Site Performance Engineer

Wind Engineers stationed at the Wind “Farm” (the turbines, cabling, batteries, switchgears, etc) are involved with the ensuring that the output of the “Farm” meets all performance requirements, including power quality, consistency and reliability. They must also ensure compliance to all electrical and building codes.

Site performance Engineers may specifically be involved in evaluating issues of compliance with health and safety codes. They may also be involved in issues with land-use or other local laws in specific municipalities, which may provide important guidance on how to build a specific wind energy system in a given location.
